New Chatmosa Media Editor Transcript Search

Thanks to CTO Sandra, we now have powerful new Transcript Search feature inside the Chatmosa Media Editor, making it much easier to edit longer podcast episodes. Instead of playing or using the playhead to scrub through the timeline or replaying sections to find a specific quote, topic, or moment, creators can now search the episode transcript and jump directly to the exact section they need. It turns the transcript into a navigation tool, helping podcasters find key moments faster, tighten edits, and create better clips without wasting time hunting through the full recording.

Sandra also added a new Insert Audio or Video feature inside the Media Editor, giving creators more control over how their episodes are finished and polished.

You can now drop new media directly into an existing episode, making it easy to add a branded intro, closing outro, sponsor message, music bumper, or extra video clip without leaving Chatmosa. It turns the editor into a more complete production workspace, so podcasters can shape the final episode, add context, and make each recording feel more professional before publishing.

Create and Publish Articles

Also this week the team added the ability to create and publish articles or posts directly from the platform, giving creators another way to turn ideas into content.

It is especially useful for show notes, episode recaps, creator updates, SEO/GEO-friendly articles, and turning one conversation into a longer-lasting piece of content on your Chatmosa page

Chatmosa Session - Episode 26 - Podcasters in Training

Welcome back to another inspiring episode of Chatmosa's "Podcasters in Training"! In Episode 26, our host David, the Head of Product at Chatmosa, guided an enthusiastic team discussion and featured special guest Nicole, a budding podcaster, who shared her experiences and insights from her journey so far.

Podcaster Nish also dropped by to chat about her past week migrating her Wordpress articles to the new Chatmosa article feature.

The session kicked off with an engaging round of introductions, with co-hosts Camille, Derek, and Sandra expressing excitement for the week ahead. David highlighted the recent improvements made to the Chatmosa platform. One of the significant changes was the rebranding of the “start a session” function to the more intuitive “create” button, making it easier for users to produce content.

“We wanted to clarify our purpose: recording podcasts, whether solo or with a community, while still catering to various creative formats,” he explained.

Camille detailed exciting new features available to all users, including the ability to easily create live streams, articles, blog posts, and more. She emphasized the platform's evolution, saying, “We're not just about social audio live streams anymore; we’re focusing on empowering creators to develop content that resonates.”

In a standout segment, Nicole shared her recent experiences testing the platform, particularly how she found the recording process "magical" and seamless. “I set up my podcast with ease, and within 24 hours, it was live on major platforms like iTunes and Spotify,” she detailed, expressing her delight in diversifying her content by leveraging Chatmosa’s capabilities.

An interactive discussion ensued about the platform’s AI capabilities, with users digging into the tools available for recording, editing, and enhancing content.

Sandra shared her excitement about the new Chatmosa media editor feature, which allows users to insert introductions and outros into their podcasts seamlessly. “It made editing not just easier, but also significantly more efficient,” she said. Also released with the latest version of the Media Editor was the ability to search the transcript to help easily find a segment in the episode.

The team also explored how to create visually appealing content, with Nish proposing that podcasters consider Canva to produce dynamic video and audio introductions. David added, “Keep your intros short and engaging. Our listeners appreciate getting straight to the content.”

The conversation naturally flowed into tips for Nicole on managing guest appearances in her upcoming podcasts. Hosts like Auntie Derek shared their methods for preparing interview questions while ensuring guests feel comfortable. “Research your guest and have an outline ready, but leave room for open-ended questions,” he advised, creating an avenue for natural dialogue.
